Please share this email with center members and please explain about each of the programs. Please let me know if someone from your center would like to take the Prison Service and take the training. It is best to have minimum of 2 volunteers in a center to take up the prison service. Please respond to me by July 6th. So that we can decide if we will have in-person or online training and schedule it.
Copying Regional office bearers for their awareness of the programs.
Thanks,
Ram
1) Murthy Cheruvu - most of you know Murthy garu who served as several officer in Sai Organization including as Region 1 president. He is instrumental in creating Seva projects helping prisoners. He has graciously accepted to spend few minutes with us to explain about a well-known training called Threshold Training. He will also touch on Theory of Constraints training. All these trainings are to teach volunteers on the Prison services.
2) Mahendran Naidu - Region 4 Service coordinator who facilitated How to organize Sai Tutoring in recent multi-regional retreat. He graciously accepted to attend our meeting to share ideas of how to organize and maintain Sai Tutoring. The mission of the SAI (Schoolwork Assistance Initiative) Tutoring Program is to help children who need assistance with their homework along with math, science and language arts enrichment. The program is also geared to motivate children to be successful students who enjoy learning through strengthening of basic skills and building self-confidence.
